In Texas, one out of every five people has no health insurance. That’s the highest uninsured rate in the nation. Unfortunately, the need is greater right here at home in Houston/Harris County, where one in four people is uninsured. That’s more than one million people in our community. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Legacy is the medical home for thousands of underserved people in Southeast Texas. In 2024, we provided services to more than 250,000 individuals. Your investment in Legacy provides important health care services that, in turn, improve the stability and well-being of our entire community.
