WELCOME

Legacy Community Health Services is a full-service, Community Health Center that provides comprehensive, primary healthcare services to all Houstonians in a culturally sensitive, judgment-free and confidential environment. Legacy has specialized in HIV/AIDS testing, education, treatment and social services since the early 1980s.We also provide care for other chronic health conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure. Generous financial support from individuals, businesses and charitable foundations allows Legacy to provide no-cost or low-cost healthcare services to over 20,000 men, women and children each year.

GE Awards Grant to Houston Clinics

The GE Foundation – the philanthropic organization of GE– and the GE Corporate Diversity Council awarded a generous grant to five Houston clinics including Legacy toward the goal of increasing access to primary care for uninsured and underserved populations across the city.

 CHRISTUS Medical Group Transfers Ownership of Southwest Community Health Center to Legacy Community Health Services

Earlier this month, CHRISTUS Medical Group transferred ownership of the
Southwest Community Health Center

to Legacy Community Health Services, who will continue to operate the clinic as a community health center. In keeping with the 18-year legacy and mission of the Southwest Community Health Center, Legacy will provide healthcare services for families in the Gulfton neighborhood and surrounding areas of Southwest Houston.

 

Legacy Community Health Services Southwest Clinic is located at 6441 High Star near the intersection of Hillcroft and Bellaire.
