2022 & 2023 Teen Health Ambassador Advisory Committee & Intern

My name is Ella and I’m a Teen Health Ambassador Advisory Committee Member, Intern and contributor at Legacy Community Health. I have been contributing research and writing for Legacy since 2022, gaining a lot of professional experience and new knowledge about subjects that really interest me. I am attending Temple University to study political science, public policy and Japanese and want to pursue a career as a lawyer in the hopes that one day I will be able to affect law and make policy beneficial to everyone living here. Being able to do the research I have at Legacy has really helped me learn more about the topics I am pursuing at college and has been greatly beneficial. Something Legacy has allowed me to do is research topics I also have no clue about, so I ended up learning a lot. One thing I learned while writing was how easy it is to actually vote, even with how intricate the system really seems. Being able to dive into all the different types of elections really opened my eyes to all the information and different details a person must know in order to be an informed voter. I’m so grateful for everything I have learned while interning and know it’s invaluable experience for what I wish to do as an adult.
