2022 & 2023 Teen Health Ambassador Advisory Committee and Intern

My name is Layla and I have been with Legacy throughout 2022 and 2023. During my time at Legacy, I have learned a lot about the voting process for teens and the importance of it. I have continued to develop my communication skills as well with fellow team members. Through writing on topics, I have learned about many areas of healthcare and how educating teens on certain topics can make a difference. Alongside this, it is so important to own your health as a teen by talking to your doctor. I am now pursuing a degree in Psychology at American University and plan to continue on the healthcare path.
