Recognition honors financial leadership driving innovation and growth across Greater Houston
HOUSTON, TX (June 26, 2026) – Rebekah Le, chief strategy and financial officer (CSFO) of Legacy Community Health, has been named a 2026 CFO Awards honoree by the Houston Business Journal (HBJ). The recognition highlights financial leaders across Greater Houston who are driving innovation, resilience and strategic growth.
Since stepping into the CSFO role during a period of financial, operational and organizational change, Le has helped stabilize and modernize Legacy Community Health’s financial operations. Her leadership has positioned Texas’ largest Federally Qualified Health Center for long-term sustainability.
“Within her first year, Rebekah strengthened Legacy’s financial foundation by redesigning budgeting, planning, and reporting processes to deliver clearer, more actionable analytics across all sites and service lines,” said Robert Palussek, chief executive officer of Legacy Community Health. “Her accomplishments within Legacy underscore why she is a worthy CFO Awards honoree.”
When Le assumed the role in May 2024, Legacy Community Health was operating a healthcare system with more than 50 locations and increasing financial complexity. Having served more than two years on the board, most recently as treasurer, she brought deep institutional knowledge, mission fluency and more than 25 years of executive financial leadership across healthcare, nonprofit, private equity and publicly traded organizations.
In addition, Le is widely recognized for her mentorship and advocacy for women in leadership, both within and beyond Legacy Community Health. She supports the professional development of emerging leaders, particularly women in finance and operations, by sharing her experience, providing guidance and encouraging career growth. Her commitment to inclusive leadership strengthens the local talent pipeline and contributes to a more equitable workplace and community.
Le will be honored at the CFO Awards on July 30, 2026, at The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa. The program highlights the vital role CFOs play in shaping financial health and strategic direction of their organizations.
“I’m deeply honored by this recognition. I have always believed leadership is about stewardship—supporting people, making responsible decisions, and keeping the mission at the center of the work,” said Le. “I’m grateful to the teams and mentors who have helped shaped my career, and I’m committed to paying that support forward.”
