Teeing Up for Kids’ Health: Legacy Community Health Hosts 16th Annual Frank Billingsley Golf Classic

Golfers, sponsors, and community supporters gather at Legacy Community Health's Frank Billingsley Golf Classic at TPC Houston, raising funds to support school-based health care services for students across Greater Houston.

HOUSTON, TX (October 9, 2026) – Legacy Community Health will host the 16th Annual Frank Billingsley Golf Classic on Monday, October 12, 2026, at TPC Houston, bringing together business, civic, and community leaders to support student health across Greater Houston. Proceeds benefit Legacy’s School-Based Health Care program, which brings health care directly to students on school campuses.

Last year’s tournament raised a record-breaking $500,000 to support school-based health care services, helping students access care where they learn while reducing disruptions for working families.

The tournament begins with registration and breakfast before golfers take to two championship courses for a day of competition, networking, and philanthropy. The event concludes with an awards luncheon, live auction, raffle drawing, and celebration of the community partners helping advance student health across the Greater Houston region.

Proceeds benefit Legacy Community Health’s School-Based Health Care program, the largest of its kind in Texas. The program operates 39 school-based health care locations across Greater Houston and provided 79,768 medical, behavioral health, and dental visits to 15,224 patients during fiscal year 2026. By bringing care directly to school campuses, the program helps students stay healthy and engaged in learning while reducing barriers to care for working families.
