NEWS RELEASE

HOUSTON, TX (October 26, 2026) – Legacy Community Health’s 16th Annual Frank Billingsley Golf Classic raised more than $600,000 for student health, setting a new fundraising record. The total surpassed last year’s record of $500,000, reflecting the continued growth and community support behind the annual event.

For 16 years, Frank Billingsley has championed Legacy Community Health and its commitment to improving access to health care. That support was on full display Oct. 12, when more than 220 golfers on 55 teams gathered at TPC Houston for a fun day with a serious purpose: supporting Legacy’s School-Based Health Care program.

The more than $600,000 raised will support Legacy Community Health’s School-Based Health Care program, bringing health care directly to students on school campuses. The program operates 39 locations across KIPP, YES Prep and Galena Park ISD campuses throughout Greater Houston. In fiscal year 2026, Legacy provided nearly 80,000 school-based visits to more than 15,000 patients, expanding access to care where students learn and reducing disruptions for working families.

This year’s tournament was made possible by Title Sponsor Quest Diagnostics and Presenting Sponsors Equitable, Hawkins Laakso Wealth Management and Pinnacle Environmental Services.

Throughout the day, golfers enjoyed the course alongside sponsor activations and fundraising opportunities. The fun continued at the awards luncheon, where returning auctioneer Johnny Bravo helped drive additional giving for Legacy’s School-Based Health Care program.

The impact extends well beyond the golf course. Funds raised will help Legacy Community Health continue bringing health care directly to students, making it easier to get care without leaving campus while reducing barriers for working families.

Legacy Community Health thanks Frank Billingsley for his continued commitment, along with the sponsors and participants who have helped grow the tournament over 16 years. Their support is helping Legacy expand access to health care for students across Greater Houston.
