Beaumont Back to School Festival

Beaumont Back to School Festival

Legacy Beaumont’s Back to School Festival was a resounding success, drawing over 1,300 attendees and making a significant impact on our community. Thanks to our event sponsors, led by Manning’s Solutions for Business, we tripled our backpack distribution, handing out 1,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to children in need. Our collaboration with local businesses and United Way partner agencies enriched the event, offering families valuable information and activities.

Our community partners played a pivotal role in connecting families to the wealth of resources Southeast Texas has to offer. With over 30 booths from sponsors and non-profits, attendees had a one-stop-shop for community services. We also identified 22 individuals and families interested in receiving care at Legacy, further extending our reach and commitment to accessible healthcare for all.

The event’s seamless execution was made possible by our incredible volunteers, including Legacy staff, Mobiloil Credit Union volunteers, civic organizations, Lamar University social work students, and Beaumont ISD staff. Your contributions are invaluable, and they directly support our mission to provide comprehensive healthcare services to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
