Hosted by Legacy Community Health, the free event offers health screenings, community resources and family activities at South Park Middle School

BEAUMONT, TX (July 20, 2026) – As Southeast Texas families prepare for a new school year, Legacy Community Health will host its annual Back-to-School Festival on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Park Middle School in Beaumont.

Families looking for free school supplies in Beaumont can attend the event, where the first 1,000 school-aged children will receive backpacks filled with school supplies. Children must be present to receive a backpack, with a limit of one backpack per child. More than 30 community organizations, sponsors and first responders will participate in the free festival, offering health screenings, community resources, family activities and opportunities to connect with local services. LifeShare Blood Center will also host an onsite blood drive.

The event reflects Legacy Community Health’s commitment to Health Beyond Care by connecting families with the school supplies, health resources and community support they need to start the school year strong. By connecting families with school supplies, health screenings and local organizations, the festival helps children and families start the school year strong and supports the everyday factors that contribute to long-term health and success.

“When children have the supplies, support, and healthcare resources they need, they’re better prepared to succeed throughout the school year,” said Joshua Davis, Vice President – Development (East Region). “This festival brings our community together to help families start the year strong.”
