Dr. Antoinette Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Therapy Director for School-Based Health Care at Legacy Community Health. She began her journey with Legacy as a KIPP Therapist and advanced to her current leadership role, where she oversees hiring for school-based therapy positions and provides individual and family therapy services. Dr. Wilson is passionate about helping children have a safe space to express their emotions and supporting them on their healing journey.
She has delivered numerous presentations and workshops to professional audiences on topics including stress management, sexual assault prevention, and suicide prevention. Dr. Wilson has teaching experience, having lectured at Sam Houston State University. She also has published and presented research papers at the Southwest Educational Research Association’s annual meeting.
Dr. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Midwestern State University, and a Doctorate in Counselor Education at Sam Houston State University.
She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and has been happily married for over a decade. She loves being a “Girl Mom” to her daughter.
