La Vonia Cannon joined Legacy with decades of experience in pharmacy leadership. Previously, she served as an Area Healthcare Supervisor, providing strategic leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations, and prior to that, as a District Pharmacy Supervisor.

As Senior Vice President of Pharmacy and Financial Support, La Vonia leads the development and execution of strategy to strengthen Legacy’s pharmacy services and operations while mentoring emerging leaders to build a strong pipeline of pharmacy talent. She is also the inventor of two patents designed to reduce gaps in care and improve patient health outcomes.

La Vonia completed her undergraduate studies in pharmacy at the University of Houston and holds an MBA in Data Analytics from Louisiana State University, as well as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.

Beyond her executive role, La Vonia is an avid basketball enthusiast and longtime supporter of the Houston Rockets, having previously held season tickets. She also enjoys travel, fashion, and planning sun and ski adventures with her daughter.
