Dr. Pathik Desai joined Legacy in August 2020 and as the Lead Clinic Medical Director, it felt like the perfect fit—both professionally and personally.

For him, Legacy isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to make a real difference. As a physician, he values the connections he builds with patients from all walks of life. Those conversations, those moments of trust—they’re what drive him. He’s especially drawn to the clinical side of medicine, with a particular interest in unique or complex patient presentations that challenge him to think deeper and stay sharp.

In his leadership role, Dr. Desai gets to do more than care for individuals—he helps shape systems. He’s passionate about creating patient-centered care and pushing for more equitable access across the board.

Outside of work, he’s just as engaged. Whether he’s exploring the world with his curious young son, staying sharp with some Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) training, or finding peace beneath the surface while scuba diving, Dr. Desai lives life with energy and purpose.
