Are you one of the millions of Americans to access health care through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare? The marketplace enrollment began on November 1 and will work like it has in previous years. The enrollment period for health insurance through the ACA for 2020 is only open for 45 days, with less than a month remaining.

Enrollment will close on December 15.

“Take the opportunity to submit an application and look at what you’re eligible for,” says Ivonne Coraza, Senior Director of Revenue Integrity at Legacy Community Health. “It is your choice then to purchase a plan if you feel like one of the options fits your needs”

Current and future Legacy patients have access to Certified Application Counselors (CAC) who can guide you through the application process so that you can be sure not to lose coverage for 2021.

Preparing to file for coverage can seem like a long and confusing process, but it doesn’t have to be. Legacy works to make the process easy for current and future patients with our ACA homepage, which is filled with information on how to enroll, what to have handy while you’re enrolling, and a handy FAQ.

Current and future Legacy patients can call ahead at (832) 548-5000 to schedule an appointment with our team. Get enrolled this year with a CAC so you don’t lose your coverage for 2021.
